The Best Halloween Parties in Budapest

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2021

Let's get Spooky Season started! Here are the best Halloween parties in Budapest!

Halloween isn’t an official Hungarian holiday, but we’ll take any chance we can get to party. As it turns out, many of the bars and clubs in Budapest feel the same way. If you’re looking for a way to let loose during spooky season, here are some of the best Halloween parties in Budapest.

Partybookers

Of course, you can’t blame us for mentioning the Partybookers Halloweekend first, right? We’re making a whole weekend of it--but you’re not surprised, are you?

Our parties are running Thursday-Saturday, and each of them has a theme.

Boat Party: Pirates and Sailors

Bingo Bar Crawl: Anything Goes

Ultimate Budapest Pub Crawl: (from our friends over at Ultimate Budapest) Nightcrawlers, Ghouls and Goblins

And we’ve even got a costume discount for you: Say “partybookers” at Party Time Balloons and Gift Store and get a 10% discount if you pay with cash!

Bars

2 person inside a smoke covered roomHoff House has an entire Halloweek plan, with costume contests, pumpkin carving, and nightly parties. Don’t miss the Heaven and Hell latin and techno party on October 30th!

Down Under Bar is having a Punk Rock Costume Party.

House Bar Terrace is having a costume party where anything goes! Come in costume and get a free welcome shot!

Neverland Bar and Escape Rooms loves going all out for its events, so it’s no wonder they’re hosting a Halloween party!

Clubs

Morrison’s 2 is a go-to Budapest club for those looking for a guaranteed good time, and they’re putting on a Brazilian Festival Party this Halloween.

Akvarium is putting on dance events all weekend long! For a taste of the 90s, check out their Wannabe XXL party, and then finish off Halloweekend with 14th Annual Halloween Madness.

For a psychedelic time check out Halloween Night at Klub Vittula or Psychedelic Halloween at Cinema Hall Budapest.

Hangover Cures

And remember, the day after Halloween is a public holiday in Hungary (All Saint’s Day), so most shops will be closed. Stock up on anything you’ll need before! Enjoy your Halloween in Budapest!
