The 6 Coolest/Most Unique Apartments in Budapest

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 07, 2017

There’s no doubt that Budapest is one of the best and most fun cities to travel to. With beautiful sites, trendy new restaurants and shops, quirky street art and insane nightlife - it’s not to be missed. Despite the fact that some of the best hostels in the world (in my opinion) are here - sometimes travelers and backpackers need to splurge a little and treat themselves.

There’s no better place to do it than here, where renting an entire flat is cheaper than most European cities. Especially when these apartments are OUT OF THIS WORLD. So here is our official list of the coolest apartments in Budapest that are available to book on your next trip here.

Luxury Downtown Apartments

These apartments are super chic and pretty AF. The best part about them is definitely the pool, hot tub and fitness center that are available once you book a flat. “The property also offers table tennis facilities for free, while solarium and various massage treatments are available at a surcharge” which sounds like an absolute dream! Again, this place is hidden away right next to Oktogon and the Terror House which means you’re only a short walk to the center of the city!

Casa del Sabo Gerbeaud Residence

With its chic art decor and incredible terrace view, this flat is perfect for a chill yet exceptional stay in Budapest. You’ll Instagram the hell out of the huge Bill Murray mural or the kisses on the hallway wall. Feel like you’re living your best life while gazing at St. Stephen's Basilica from the terrace!

Magical Apartment with a SLIDE

This flat is all your childhood dreams come true. There is a motherf***king SLIDE that goes from the loft space to the living room. If that doesn’t get you excited, I don’t know what will. It’s super cute, clean, and in the 7th district near loads of ruin bars and fun restaurants. And, to make things extra magical, there’s a unicorn head on the wall. I mean, what more could you want??

Star Wars Flat

Every inch of this space is dedicated to Star Wars in the best way possible. From the lightsabers on the wall to the towels in the bathroom, you will feel like you’re in a galaxy far far away. Plates, lamps, sheets and even the coffee table are completely decked out - perfect for ultimate Star Wars fans. Plus, the apartment is located less than 10 minutes from Oktogon which is the perfect location for all your tourists needs!

Aquaworld Resort

That’s right, this hotel is IN an Aquaworld - one of the biggest indoor water theme parks in Europe! With beautiful hotel rooms and the water park just next door, it’s impossible not to have fun (especially for adventure lovers or children!). Although it’s a little far from the city center, the hotel offers a free shuttle service running multiple times a day to and from Heroes Square.

Rooftop Terrace Apartment

So not only is this flat incredibly chic and impeccably decorated - it includes a private and beautiful rooftop terrace! In the warmer months, enjoy a drink or dinner on the roof with awesome views of the city. The apartment also includes a wine cooler (duh) and a nice bathtub for bubble baths (treat yo self) and is located right off Andrassy Ave near the Opera House.
